A Plano Family Man

Bob and his wife, Christine, have called Plano home since 2003. Married in 2010, they cherish life in Plano and frequently enjoy Plano’s Parks & Recreation centers together.  Bob has two daughters and one granddaughter. (Tragically, he lost his oldest daughter in a car wreck in 2003.) Bob’s youngest daughter works with him at Kehr Technologies, a Managed Services Provider in IT.

 

A Successful Entrepreneur

With a career spanning telecom and technology, Bob is also a successful business person. Along with Christine, he manages a long-term residential and commercial property business and owns a 20-acre pistachio farm in central California. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Bob’s commitment to Plano shines through his extensive community service and leadership roles:

  • Plano Parks & Recreation Commission: Member (2 years)

  • Plano Chamber of Commerce: Member of the Board of Directors, recipient of the “Best of Plano” Small Business Person of the Year (2022), Ambassador Goodwill & Spirit Award (2017).

  • Plano Rotary Club: Past President

  • CASA of Collin County: Board Chair

  • Leadership Plano (Class 36): Board Chair

  • Hendrick Scholarship Foundation: Executive Board Member

 
A Committed Volunteer

Bob has consistently volunteered his time to support Plano’s cultural and educational institutions, earning numerous accolades for his service:

  • Plano ISD 2022 Board Task Force: Technology Committee Chair

  • Plano Citizens Academy: Graduate (2018)

  • Plano ISD Leadership and Ambassador Program: Class 3 Graduate

  • Volunteer at the Heritage Farmstead Museum and Plano African American Museum
